Florent Christophe is responsible at the Toulouse establishment of Onera, the French Aerospace lab, of the Electromagnetism & Radar department. One of its research groups is involved in Electromagnetic Compatibility issues associated to More/All Electric Aircraft.

He is a member of the Science & Technology Board of NATO –where technology for future military air vehicles is often discussed- and a member of the executive board of SEE, the French Society for electronics. As such, he chaired the organizing committee, merging SEE and 3AF staff, of the More Electric Aircraft conference having taken place last february in Toulouse..
