IRT Antoine de Saint Exupéry

With a scientific, engineering and business background (Ecole Polytechnique X80, PhD Thesis in solid state physics, Corporate MBA), Ariel Sirat spent the his carrier in Industry as research engineer, then as technology innovation manager. With his teams and in tight relationship with academic laboratories he reached several major achievement in the fields of Aerospace and Defence within Airbus Group (formerly EADS). More recently, he was in charge of the strategic management of the Group technology portfolio in system and product engineering, then deputy manager of the central labs (Airbus Group Innovation – more than 800 p. in France, Germany and UK). Strongly involved in the finalization of Saint Exupéry Institute of Technology (IRT) proposal, he was appointed CEO of the institute in 2013. IRT counts today more than 200 engineers, PhD students, researchers, etc. maturing key technologies for Aerospace and Embedded Systems applications.
