Maximilian Warhanek, 27, completed his studies of mechanical engineering at ETH Zurich focussing on production technology and logistics. In his PhD-studies, he specialises on the ultrashort-pulsed laser processing of hard materials such as diamond and CBN. Mr Warhanek is the coordinator of the EU research project DIPLAT and founder of the PCD tool producing company 6C Tools.
